How do I Ingest using FTP (File Transfer Protocol)?

This is a guide on how to login and transfer documents to us via a dedicated FTP

Step-by-step guide

  1. Ensure you have received your FTP login credentials, they should look something like this:
    Host: ftp.thecomplianceworkbook.com
    User: The username provided to you
    Pass: The password provided to you
  2. Download and install an FTP software program/application - We recommend FileZilla - Download it here: https://filezilla-project.org\

  3. Open FileZilla



  4. Type your login credentials into the "Host, Username, Password" boxes 



  5. Select "Quickconnect"

  6. The FTP client will run through the login process and connect you directly to the server. 



  7. Navigate to your documents in the left browser window (Your Computer) and drag them into the right side "Server window"




  8. Your selected documents will now begin uploading to the server.



the server will "Timeout" if the window is left open and unused for a number of minutes. 

Simply login again to continue uploading documents.
