Attaching Documents to Assets

To attach a document to an asset in your organisations TCW Asset Register:


  1. Select the document you’d like to attach to an asset. Those not assigned will show the address as ‘UNASSIGNED

     

  2. From the document panel, select assign.

     

  3. TCW will then suggest an address that it has taken from the document. If this is not correct you can then enter either the UPRN, address or postcode.

  4. Once the asset has been found, just click ‘Assign’

    If the asset doesn’t exist in TCW, you can create a new one



  1. From the summary of a unassigned document, switch to the ‘Asset Details’ Tab

  2. Select ‘Assign'

  3. TCW will then suggest an address that it has taken from the document. If this is not correct you can then enter either the UPRN, address or postcode.

  4. Once the asset has been found, just click ‘Assign’

If the asset doesn’t exist in TCW, you can create a new one

 

Please note that the document has been assigned but it may take a short time to reflect the change.
