Asset groups are a way to filter the entire TCW site to show only a predefined group of property references. All areas of the site are filtered automatically when selecting group(s)
To create/edit an asset group in your organisations TCW Asset Register:
Select Edit Groups from the Assets tab.
2. You’ll then be presented with the asset groups page. Here you can View, edit and delete groups of assets.
Selecting 'View' will allow you to then edit the group by pasting the UPRN’s.
Selecting ‘Add’ will allow you to create a new group.
Selecting ‘Delete’ will remove the group entirely (Only the group will be deleted, the asset will remain)
3. When viewing your group, paste a list of the UPRN’s (property references) which belong to this group and click ‘Validate’
Clicking the
icon will download a list of the assets currently in this group.
The system will clear the group entirely, then re-create it using your list of UPRN’s. With this in mind, it’s important to ensure your list contains all of the assets which belong to this group.
Assets groups can also be edited on a case by case basis via an individual asset - Just click “Edit Groups”
