Overriding the Compliance of a Asset

Overriding the Compliance of a Asset

The override function is treated the same as if a digital document was uploaded.

It may sometimes be necessary to manually override the compliance and expiry date of a property, for instance:

  • If you receive a scanned or handwritten document.

  • If you wish to keep the current document non-compliant, but temporarily alter the compliance of the asset.

This can be done by clicking the + in the timeline when on a property summary.

If an expiry date is added to an override, the next next inspection date (property compliance expiry) will be taken from the override until:

  • A more recent digital document is added

  • A new override and expiry is added

  • Override is removed (reverts back to last known date)

for example:

  1. LGSR with inspection date 01/01/19 is uploaded

  2. Scanned document with inspection date 01/01/20 is uploaded

  3. Property override is added with manually added expiry of 02/01/21

  4. Expiry report + charts will show the property expired on 03/01/21.

You can view, report on and remove overrides at any time by clicking the ‘Chip’ in the timeline.
