When a document with an identical inspection date is uploaded both are classed as relevant and will affect the properties compliance. This is because TCW cannot be 100% certain which one was created first.

There are a few options ins this situation:

  1. Modify the filename with version numbers by appending ‘-V2', ‘-V3’ etc
    12345_EICR_10-03-23.pdf
    12345_EICR_10-03-23-V2.pdf
    12345_EICR_10-03-23-V3.pdf
    This will inform TCW that this document is an amended certificate and will take it as the current certificate, maintaining the old one but removing its relevance.

  2. Delete the previous, erroneous certificate.

  3. Resolve the results from the certificate.
    Not preferable as the erroneous certificate would remain ‘relevant'
